Culture Kingdom Presents: Coconuco Networking for Zumba Instructors
Dear Toronto Zumba Instructors:
This post is to let you know of this special event organized by Culture Kingdom and focused on helping you establish and grow your Zumba business. As you all know, getting licensed to teach Zumba is just the beginning of your journey. I bet you find yourself wondering about how to find clients, how to grow your classes and what the best sources are to learn from. We realize that there are many things involved in establishing Zumba business and the learning curve is huge especially for new Instructors as well as individuals with no previous business or marketing experience. Many of you might remember that a while ago I surveyed Instructors to try to understand what your learning needs are and are you willing to invest time and effort to learn. Your response was that you strongly preferred establishing private Zumba classes however, you were unsure about how to approach potential facilities for rent; music licensing issues; registering your business; liability insurance; web-site and internet marketing; email marketing and legal/privacy issues associated with that; how to cope and succeed when 100s of people are teaching the same thing as you are; how to organize and market events…and the list of questions went on and on.
So, we are organizing the first event of its kind here in Toronto. The time will be devoted to answer some of those burning questions. We will not be able to cover everything in several hours however we will do our best to provide you with most useful information we possibly can.
Agenda will be the following:
- 1:30-intro to networking- Meet Culture Kingdom-questionnaire
- 2:30-small groups
- Curves: Zumba in the circuit
- Owning your own business/running own classes
- Life balance as an instructor
